We have been experimenting!

We have been a bit quiet around here, as lots of exciting changes have been going on in the background and we can’t wait to share with you all. The business has been growing rapidly over the last year which has helped shape where we want to focus our attentions this year. 

 

  

LIGHT BLUE DENIM

We finally have light blue denim in our collection this year. This was hugely popular back when we repurposed vintage Levi denim waste and has been in hot demand ever since. As it takes large amounts of washing to create this look, we have waited until we could find a wash house that is using the latest sustainable technology and techniques. We will share more information on this in a blog post of it own. The new shade is due in at the end of April.

 

 

OUTSOURCING MANUFACTURING

In order to create the light blue shade above, we have outsourced our manufacturing this season. We have been working with a small family run factory in Turkey. This has been a huge move for us and we went out to visit them in January. Quality and standards are really important to us as a brand. It is important that we continue what we have worked hard to create over the last 5 years. We are also trialling with factories in Portugal and UK for next season. Making our garments in house has been wonderful, however as a tiny team, we are stretched and can’t give all areas of the business the attention they fully deserve.

 

 

DENIM FOR LIFE

This area has been on our wish list for a while and we are finally able to find the time to build on this area. We want to share with our customers and stockists knowledge and tips on caring for your denim for life. This will be through various mediums such as repair tutorials, washing guidance, sustainability blog posts, and product recycling initiative.

 

 

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR CUSTOMERS AND STOCKISTS

From outsourcing the manufacturing we are able to focus our attention to building engagement and communication with our customers and stockists. We want to share more with you, understand what you do and don’t love, how we can improve, and what you would love to see more of. We want the relationship to go further than just the purchase.
